The To Do List

The to do list is one of the funnest adolescent movie I've seen, with a very smart cast and a unique twist on a girl trying to lose her virginity. Brandy Clark (Aubrey Plaza) has just graduated from high school and has never had a sexual experience but she's make her list to change all that. Will she be able to accomplish her goal before she goes to college in the fall?

This is one of the funnest and most nostalgic 90's movie made in a long time, you will laugh from the moment the movie start to the end,
and I can forget to mention the excellent soundtrack, this is A MUST SEE FILM..

I give this movie 5 Stars.

Oblivion

Jack (Tom Cruise) is a drone repairman on what remains of Earth, after the invasion war with the aliens and the destruction of our moon, the planet resource is beyond depleted and Jack and his assistant Victoria (Andrea Riseborough) are assigned to secure the mission, but an unexpected surprise occurs when a spaceship crashes and what he discovers has Jack questioning everything he knows.

Oblivion is another of Tom Cruise continuous format of aliens, and the end of the world scenario, where he is the only one that can save it. This version of his format is a little bit confusing and the story line become a bit absurd but the graphics are incredible, and the acting was believable so overall you won't be disappointed because you get what you expect from Tom Cruise's movie.

I give this movie 3 1/2 Stars.

In comes Dr. Elizabeth Lamb (Rosario Dawson) who will try to help Simon regain his memory. However, somethings are best kept unleashed.

This movie has some parts that are hard to follow and is at time confusing but the ride gets solve and all the piece comes together at the end perfectly.

I give this movie 3 1/2 Stars.

42

42 is the story of the first negro baseball player Jackie Robinson who was signed to the all white national baseball team the Brooklyn Dodgers. Jackie was a pioneer in the sport and it is because of him that we have the diversity in all sports today. 42 is touching, funny, and  a completely heartwarming tribute to the man, so don't just walk to see this movie but run to see it. This movie is worth the admission, and I see an Oscar for this movie
.

I give this move 5 Stars.

Evil Dead

To start, this is not the same as the original Evil Dead that as a child scared me half to death, I couldn't go to sleep by myself for days, but this version is also scary and twisted. The graphs is on point and the story line stays somewhat the same with a few deviation. I enjoy this movie, but a little info stay to the end there is a surprise after the credits.

I give this movie 3 Stars

Olympus Has Fallen

Olympus has fallen is a action thriller movie with lots of explosion, and a plot that is very hard to conceive. A group of terrorists from north Korea has the guts to invade Washington D.C and take over the white house, with the end result of kidnapping the president and causing total devastation to USA.What happens in this film is really so overwhelming that it was hard to see our white house in that condition, but there's a silver lining in agent Mike Banning (Gerard Butler) who will stop at nothing to save the president. Gerard Butler and Morgan Freeman are a great dual and this movie will thrill you to the very end.

I give this movie 4 Stars.

Stoker

Stoker is a dark thriller with a weird twist and turns plot, this is an unsettling story of secrets and suppressed emotion. This movie drags on and on, it's very dull in some scene that leave you confused and unable to follow along with the story line. India (Mia Wasikoswka) is more like Wednesday from the Addams family with no emotions and anti social, uncle Charlie (Matthew Goode) is strange and bizarre and you don't know what his angle is and who he wants. And Evelyn (Nicole Kidman) is the unstable mom who is looking for something and she doesn't know what. I don't know why it was hard to follow maybe if you have a few shots of vodka maybe you would understand it, so watching this sober did not help.

I give this movie 2 Stars
