After Earth

General Cypher (Will Smith) has come home after a long tour of duty fighting aliens, now trying to mend his relationship with his family, but being a father is not easy especially when he's been estranged from his son Kitai (Jaden Smith) for most of his life. Cypher decides to do one last tour but this time he wants Kitai to accompany him, but on the flight their ship got caught in an asteroid storm, damaging the ship and forcing the ship to land on humanity free Earth. Now Kitai will have to face his fear, if he wants to save his father's life.

The special effects was awesome, the storyline dragged a little but it really teaches you the power of facing your fears and conquering it. Once again M. Night Shyamalan has brought out his disturbing creation from his mind.

I give this movie 3 Stars.

The Kings of Summer

This lovely coming of age film about three friends who are so unhappy at home that they decide to run-away and create their own house in the woods. Joe (Nick Robinson), his best friend Patrick (Gabriel Basso) and friend Biaggio (Moises Arias) builds a house and lives off the land, but living independently isn't all it cracked-up to be.

This independent film is creative, smart and heartwarming. I enjoy all the characters, and the message was clear, looking for your independence and finding that what you are trying to run from will always be part of you. THIS IS A MUST SEE FILM.

I give this movie 4 1/2 Stars.

The Hangover 3

After Allen's (Zach Galifianakis) dad dies, the wolfpack comes together to help Allen with an intervention and convince him to go for medical treatment. On the way to the hospital the wolfpack is assaulted and Doug (Justin Bartha) gets kidnapped. Now they need to find Leslie Chow (Ken Jeong) and deliver him to a gangster, in order to save Doug.

This is the last installment of The Hangover franchise and nothing was off limits. The craziness of sex, drugs and this time wild cocks is on full display. Not better than the first but more entertaining the the second movie, the third is definitely the charm, you will enjoy it all the way to the end.

I give this movie 4 Stars.

Unwilling to bond with Trent, Duncan befriends the manager of a local water park who helps him find his inner strength.

This independent film is heartwarming, funny and inspirational, I was touch beyond belief with the strength and courage the main character Liam James portrayed. This little film is a MUST SEE..

I give this movie 5 Stars.

Fast and Furious 6

Agent Hobb (Dwayne Johnson) is in need of help again, so he turns to the one man that can bring justice, Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his team. It's not going to be easy capturing one of the most dangerous formal special ops soldier Owen Shaw (Luke Evans) who's gone rogue. Now that Don knows that someone he love is involve, he will do anything to put his family together again no matter what's in his way.

Well here we go again, another fast and furious so I thought, never imagining that I was going to be so into the storyline, the car chase was more intense and  amazing than the last version. Ladies this not only for the men you will enjoy it too.

I give this movie 4 1/2 Stars.

Now You See Me

After a group of illusionist team up to become the world famous 4 horsemens, they pull-off an unreal illusion by performing a heist live from Las Vegas to Paris in 5 mins and rewarding the audience with millions of dollars they just stoled. How did they do it, ask the FBI and interpol who are investigationing the case. And now, the chase is on.

Now you see me is an action packed film with incredible illusions, twists and turns that you really don't see coming. A wonderful cast and a real underdog storyline makes this movie worth the admission. After seeing this film I want to see it  again and again, loved it.

I   give this movie 5 Stars.

The Great Gatsby

The Classic novel from F. Scott Fitzgerald was transformed into this adaptation about the mysterious Jay Gatsby (Leo DiCaprio) who's secrets and obsession has taken over him, while befriending his neighbor Nick Carraway (Tobey Maguire) a man who is  lured to Gatsby's world. But everything that glitters isn't gold and that's a lesson that Nick will learn.

This version of The Great Gatsby is absolutely fantastic from the storyline, to the costumes and the music. The shock is that Jay-Z is credited as an executive producer, surprising that a novel that most of us read in high school was capture so profundity, this is "A MUST SEE FILM".

I give this movie 5 Stars.
