How Do You Know

After Lisa(Reese Witherspoon) has made her athletic career her main focus a priority for 27 years, she doesn't know what to do when she is cut from the U.S.A Women Softball League. Staggering towards a normal life, that she's never had before, outside of sports. So, on the day she is cut from the team, she decided to go out on a blind date with George(Paul Rudd) a sweet businessman who's being investigated by the government. With complications like that for both, how can't it not be magic? Soon after Lisa starts dating Matty(Owen Wilson) a major league baseball player and known ladies man. Meanwhile, George's father Charles(Jack Nicholson) is working with his son so they both won't go to prison. Before Lisa's relationship with Matty started, she and George share a very special date that George can't forget. Now Lisa finds herself in the middle of a love triangle, with a businessman friend and her current baseball player boyfriend.

Director James Brooks is best known for his hits, "Terms of Endearment", "As good as It Get", and " The Simpson's". He has an eye for good comedy and this one is no doubt another hit for this award winning director. Reese Witherspoon and Jack Nicholson are always wonderful, but leave it to comedy pros Paul Rudd and Owen Wilson to steal the show. This is a must see.

I give this movie 4 Stars.
