The Next Three Days

The life of John Brennan (Russell Crowe) and his wife Laura (Elizabeth Banks) is turned upside down when she is accused of murdering her boss. Laura has proclaimed her innocence, but with no proof, she was convicted. After three years into her sentence, John is under pressure to hold his family together for his son Luke (Ty Simpkins) sakes, who needs him now more then ever. John works as a professor at a college while he proves that his wife's innocence. However, everything changes after he received the rejection letter for the final appeal, and Laura couldn't handle it anymore. John decided that there's only one solution and that is to breaking her out of prison and there's nothing he won't risk to achieve this, including his own freedom.

The Next Three Days is a high action movie, Russell Crowe delivers another hit. For the men, he gives this character a toughness feeling with a bit of 007. For the women, he gives them a compassionate and caring man that will risk anything for the woman he loves.

I give this movie 4 Stars

Fair Game

Fair Game is based on a true story of married couple Valerie Plame (Naomi Watts) and Joe Wilson (Sean Penn). Valerie who had worked for 18 years as an undercover CIA operative agent was eradicated from her position as an field agent. Plame's career in the CIA was destroyed after a White House official exposed her to the press after her husband wrote an article to the New York Time's saying that the Bush's administration manipulated intelligence information about weapons of mass destruction to justify the war in Iraq in 2002.

This movie will stir up strong politic emotions either for it or against what Bush did to start the war. You will come out with conviction and passion about this couple fight for their rights as Americans.
