It's Kind Of A Funny Story

This story is about 16 yr old Craig (Keir Gilchrist) who's depressed about everything that's going on in his life. He is in love with his best friend's girlfriend, Nia (Zoe Kravitz) and his inability to tell her how he feels, and the same goes with his father, constantly pushing college on him. This causes him to have unpredictable vast projectile vomiting at the most inconvenient time. Feeling suicidal he convinces the ER doctor to admit him to the psychiatric ward at the hospital. Unbeknownst to him, he gets transferred to the adult psychiatric side due to renovation on the children side. There he meets Bobby (Zach Galifianakis) and Noelle (Emma Roberts), and many others who helped him renovated his life, so he can live life to the fullest.

The story of "It's kind of a funny story" is an adaptation by the same name from Ned Vizzini. This movie has a very slow start, but like the little engine that could the story takes speed and leaves you feeling hopeful.

I give this movie 3 Stars.

The Social Network

The Social Network is the story about the founder of the website, Facebook. Computer genius Mark Zuckerberg(Jesse Eisenberg) began working on a new idea, in the format of blogging. What began in his dorm room as an idea soon become a global revolution in social networking. Six years later and 500 million friends, facebook is the Mecca for communicating back and forth with new friends, old friends and everything in between. However, anything worth making is worth keeping.

Director David Fincher has captured this year cult classic. I see big thing happening for this small film. You will appreciate Mark Zuckerberg struggles and fight to keep his dream alive, making him the youngest billionaire in history.

I give this movie 4 Stars
