Take Me Home Tonight

Matt Franklin(Topher Grace) is a recent MIT graduate, who works for a mall video store as a clerk, instead of working for a national leading fortune 500 company and building his career. But at 23 years old Matt has no clue to what he wants to do with his life and still live with his parents, until Tori(Teresa Palmer) walked into his store the girl of his dreams. She invites him to an Labor Day party, and Matt thinks, finally he has a chance with Tori, with the help of his best friend Barry(Dan Folger) and twin sister Wendy(Anna Faris) Matt will make this night an experience that they all will never forget.

Take Me Home Tonight is a romantic comedy with laugh out loud scenes, raunchy and dirty, this blast from the past will keep you on the edge with laughter. Great music from the 80's this time machine movie will have you saying; "I remember wearing that, sing that, and doing that". Definitely the best movie this year, A MUST SEE!!!!!!!

I give this movie 5 Stars.

Beastly

Kyle Kingson(Alex Pettyfer) has it all looks, money, intelligence and everyone loves him, but his cruel and wicked ways he treats people is monstrous. Humiliating unattractive classmates and especially gothic dressing witch Kendra(Mary-Kate Olsen), he invites her to a party to humiliate her, she retaliates and cast a spell that transform Kyle into a monster something she believe him to be inside. Kendra tells him, he has one year to find true love or face a lifetime looking beastly. Repulsed by his own appearance, Kyle goes into hiding in his Brooklyn home with his sympathetic housekeeper Zola(Lisa Gay Hamilton) and Blind teacher Will(Neil Patrick Harris). Now the only person who has accepted him is Lindy(Vanessa Hudgens) but can she love him as a men.

Beastly is the 21st century version of Beauty and the Beast, where a teenager is transformed from a handsome man to a ugly monster. Well cast and oftenly funny. This fairy tale was beautifully updated and reliable to everyone that beauty is only skin deep and we must look beyond our superficial appearances.

I give this movie 4 Stars.

Cedar Rapids

Insurance agent Tim Lippe(Ed Helms) who's never left his small hometown and never fully experienced life is suddenly giving the task of being the representative for his company, at the annual insurance convention. Grossly naive to his surrounding and meeting new people like Bree(Alia Shawkat) a local prostitute he befriends, soon Tim meets his roommates Ronald Wilkes(Isiah Whitlock Jr.) and Dean Ziegler(John C. Reilly) who will show him the ropes, and push him beyond his limits. Tim is a man who plays by the rules, but these rules will gets tossed out fast.

Directed by Miguel Arteta, this dark comedy is seriously funny. Ed Helm has a lovable character and he and the whole cast will have you laughing non stop. This is a must see movie.
