Conviction

Conviction is based on the real life events of Kenneth Waters and his sister Betty Anne Waters.
This movie is about Kenny Waters(Sam Rockwell), who in 1983 was arrested for murder and sentenced to life in prison. Betty Anne Waters(Hilary Swank) a Massachusetts single mother of two boys and Kenny's little sister will go to great length to exonerate her brother conviction. A high school dropout Betty Anne knows that she couldn't afford a good lawyer for her brother so she decided to go and get her G.E.D, then go to college, and finally law school. She achieved to pass her bar test and become a licensed attorney. Helping her, and an attorney herself her best friend Abra Rice(Minnie Driver). The two duo pored through old evidence finding a key piece, the blood DNA evidence that would exonerate Kenny and uncover the facts with the assists of Barry Scheck(Peter Gallagher) the director of the innocence project.

Betty Anne Waters spend 18 years to free her brother and she did it. She sacrificed her marriage to achieve the impossible, and undue the injustice committed on her beloved brother Kenny. This touching story of love, and blinded faith to her brothers innocence was extraordinary, and her believe to fight with everything you have, for the one you love.

I give this movie 5 Stars....
