Moneyball

The General Manager of the Oakland A's Billy Beane (Brad Pitt) has a dilemma, he just lost three main players to free agent deals to other teams, now he has to replace them, and but together a baseball club on a shoestring budget making it harder. Until his visit to Cleveland Indian club were he meets Peter Brand (Jonah Hill) a Ivy league grad who uses his computer analysis system program to draft Billy's new players, base on scores, runs and win of the games. This new technology challenges everything that all recruiting scout hold as traditional.

Moneyball is base on a true story, directed by Bennett Miller who has really capture the struggle to make a underdog team like the Oakland A's achieve the impossible achievement of 20 straight games won by a team on a very low budget. Bratt Pitt and Jonah Hill are excellent in these role. I do see Oscar performance in this film.

I give this movie 4 stars.
